The main view for editing tabular data is the Data
Grid. This view allows quick and easy access to
tabular (rows & columns) style data. Sorting,
Grouping and Filtering can be applied to this view.
Cutting, Copying and Pasting of single fields or
rows, as well as multiple rows is catered for, and
several clipboard formats such as HTML, RTF and text are
supported. These formats allow data to be moved easily
to and from DataVision 2007.
DataVision 2007 supports user definable
external editors for any field in the Data
Grid. These editors can be accessed via the 'Send
To' menu. This allows you to edit fields that may
otherwise be difficult to edit in a grid like large text
fields, pictures or other binary formats. You can simply
right-click on the field in the grid and select 'Send
To->My Editing Application'. The editing
application will launch. You then edit the document save
it, close the editor, and DataVision 2007 will
save the data back into the grid. |

At the core of all databases are it's tables.
Designing and maintaining these is therefore a very
important aspect of DataVision 2007. Supporting
general ADO, Microsoft Access®, Microsoft SQL Server®,
and Interbase, DataVision 2007 makes this process
as painless as possible.
The Table Designer allows the creation and modifying
of tables of the supported databases via a consistent
straight-forward intuitive interface.

Creating and modifying stored queries and procedures
(and functions in some databases), is provided by DataVision
2007's 'Procedure Editor'. This editor allows for
full screen editing with the usual editing features
expected in a quality SQL editor; Syntax-highlighting,
Auto-completion, SQL Templates, Bookmarks and more.
