Basic Print & Preview
Producing fast and clear reports from DataVision
2007 has never been easier. Any data displayed in
the Data Grid can be
quickly turned into a professional looking report.
Selecting 'Print' or 'Preview' from the menus or toolbar
will invoke the 'Print Options' dialog. This dialog
allows you to configure report options like; Title,
Footer, Page orientation, as well as layout options like
sorting and grouping. |
Report Writing
For more complex reports, or for reports that you
want to produce more than once, DataVision 2007
has an integrated report writer.
With this report writer, you can build 'Document
style' single page reports, 'Banded' reports, and even
multi-page reports with child reports.
These reports can be formatted and styled just the way
you want them. The report writer supports full color
text, lines, and shapes, as well as images and
calculated values. The intuitive interface is a full
WYSIWYG designer with drag-n-drop editing. |
